Testimonials and result summaries can leave out facts that materially affect a California Lemon Law matter. The warranty, defect, repair history, mileage, vehicle use, evidence, parties, timing, and current law can make one consumer’s experience very different from another’s.
ZapLemon’s publication standard
- Do not imply that a past result predicts a future outcome.
- Do not publish a client story without appropriate permission and privacy review.
- Describe important context and limitations rather than presenting a headline number alone.
- Distinguish verified facts from an illustrative example or general explanation.
- Use a case-specific consultation—not a testimonial—to evaluate a vehicle and repair history.
What matters more than a headline
A useful review starts with contemporaneous records: repair orders that accurately describe the symptoms, dates and mileage, days the vehicle was unavailable, written warranty terms, communications with the dealer or manufacturer, and photographs or videos when a problem is intermittent. Those records help an attorney understand what happened and what questions still need to be answered.
No outcome guarantee: ZapLemon does not promise a buyback, replacement, payment, settlement, or timeline. Any future testimonial or result summary must be read with that limitation.
To prepare your own facts for review, use the case-review document checklist and read the editorial policy.
